Manager, Client Platform Engineering

What you'll do

• Own the worldwide endpoint architecture and roadmap for macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms.
• Lead the release calendar and deployment ring strategy to deliver operating system and patch updates on time.
• Administer and evolve the endpoint management stack using MDM, UEM, and declarative device management tools.
• Manage the end-to-end mobile strategy for corporate-owned and BYOD devices across iOS and Android.
• Build and operate the Endpoint Digital Employee Experience program to instrument the fleet and drive proactive remediation.
• Partner with InfoSec to implement security controls, hardening baselines, and vulnerability remediation SLAs.
• Build automation to reduce manual operations and ensure configuration-as-code practices across the fleet.
• Hire, coach, and lead a globally distributed team of engineers to maintain technical excellence.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in end user computing, client platform engineering, or endpoint engineering.
• 3+ years of experience hiring and leading engineers.
• Proven experience owning a fleet of several thousand endpoints across multiple countries and time zones.
• Hands-on depth in managing macOS (Jamf, Intune, etc.), Windows 11 (Autopilot, Autopatch), and Linux (Ansible, Fleet) as code.
• Experience with mobile management models including MDM for corporate devices and MAM/app protection for BYOD.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, Swift, or PowerShell with comfort in Git-based workflows.
• Jamf Certified Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or equivalent certification (preferred).
