Manager, System & Cloud Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers including performance management and career growth.
• Own the DevEx product vision and roadmap by translating business priorities into actionable JIRA epics.
• Direct the design, deployment, and operation of infrastructure for the Loan Management System across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Serve as the primary partner for Security, Audit, and Compliance to oversee vulnerability remediation and PCI/SOX requirements.
• Manage AWS budgets, vendor relationships, purchase orders, and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Implement scalable global connectivity solutions and oversee all phases of project lifecycles.
• Champion the development of network lifecycle automation and visibility/telemetry tools.
• Partner with development teams to remove delivery blockers and identify tools that support product launches.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, hiring, and developing a team of infrastructure engineers.
• Experience managing AWS budgets, vendor relationships, and cost-optimization initiatives (preferred).
• Experience owning technical product roadmaps and translating business priorities into actionable backlogs (preferred).
• Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation, and monitoring platforms like Datadog or Splunk (preferred).
• Experience managing vulnerabilities and partnering with security teams on PCI, SOX, and access-control requirements (preferred).
• Experience as an engineer in DevOps, SRE, cloud, or infrastructure engineering (preferred).
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills to represent technical roadmaps to senior leadership (preferred).
