Software Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Manage a software engineering team supporting the DGX Cloud Kubernetes organization.
• Gather requirements from internal teams and develop solutions to ensure their success.
• Supervise engineers and educate partner teams on standard cloud-based solution methodologies.
• Present roadmaps, visions, and technical demos to internal partners and NVIDIA leadership.
• Participate in open-source communities for software used and built by the company.
• Design and build distributed software systems and maintainable APIs for consumers.
• Oversee container orchestration, infrastructure, networking, and storage systems.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas or equivalent experience.
• Experience in designing and building distributed software systems.
• 4+ years of experience in leading a team of engineers with varying talents across organizations.
• Ability to write code in mainstream systems programming languages such as Golang, Java, C, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with Kubernetes, distributed task scheduling, and container orchestration (containerd, CRI-O, Docker).
• Understanding of Linux Kernel scheduling, memory management, networking subsystems, and DevOps scripting/tooling.
• Experience in a Hyperscale Cloud Service Provider (preferred).
• Experienced, persuasive, and effective presentation skills (preferred).
