JOB TITLE: Manager Programs 3
The Manager Programs 3 joins the Mission System Sector to support the Advanced Tactical Programs Operating Unit. This role leads a cross-functional organization to execute the Phase 6 Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development Program. The manager owns all program phases from inception to completion, ensuring profitable execution that meets schedule and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include managing cost, schedule, and technical performance using Earned Value Management and Integrated Master Schedules. The position requires leading hardware and software development, integration, test, and qualification activities, including EMI/EMC, power, vibration, and thermal testing. The role involves managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and operating within Special Access Program environments. Candidates must possess radar technical expertise to solve complex requirements for strategically important defense programs involving anti-tamper requirements and various technologies.
Direct and own all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs and subsystems.
Act as the primary customer contact for program reviews and status updates.
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules and budget baselines using Earned Value Management.
Identify program problems and execute return-to-green plans to ensure milestone adherence.
Manage program risks and opportunities through identification, mitigation, and realization.
Coordinate the preparation of proposals, capture plans, and operating budgets.
Operate in Special Access Program environments while adhering to all security plans and procedures.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
A current/active U.S. government Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional/military experience, including project/program management, or a master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
Demonstrated experience leading technical programs through Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) or other development lifecycle phases.
