The Manager Programs 2 joins the Capabilities Maturation and Deployment organization within the Engineering Concepts Division to manage a portfolio of Infrared Camera Core building block devices. The manager leads cross-functional teams to ensure technical compliance, manages program risks, and tracks performance metrics regarding cost and schedule baselines. Key responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders to define requirements and leading review sessions to address project status. Required expertise includes experience in electro-optical/infrared systems, manufacturing, production, and global supply chain environments. The role requires proficiency in business and financial management principles, as well as familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems and agile methodologies to support the development and maturation of advanced sensor system technologies.

What you'll do

Manage all technical, financial, and schedule aspects of assigned programs including P&L responsibility.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers regarding program status and performance.
Lead a cross-functional team to ensure roles are understood and technical compliance is met.
Conduct program review sessions with customers to address cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Develop and manage technical performance metrics for all assigned projects.
Identify and execute mitigation plans to resolve program risks and issues.
Monitor and control program plans, cost baselines, and schedule baselines against contractual requirements.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
A current or active U.S. government Secret clearance is required.
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience in project/program management are required.
Experience supporting programs within engineering, manufacturing, production, and global supply chain environments is required.
Experience applying business and financial management principles to program cost, schedule, forecasting, and budgeting is required.
Experience supporting electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) systems or technologies is required.
Experience managing program risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies through documented processes is required.
A Top Secret or SCI clearance, experience with IR camera hardware, or Scrum Master certification are preferred.
