What you'll do

  • Cultivate customer relationships to identify and develop new opportunities within the customer community.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
  • Manage program financial performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost and schedule control tools.
  • Negotiate contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, and key terms and conditions.
  • Create, review, and finalize program Statements of Work and manage requirements tracking.
  • Manage program resources including workforce planning and supplier management to meet objectives.
  • Execute risk and opportunity management practices by identifying, mitigating, and realizing potential issues.
  • Deliver technical presentations and status reports to customers, executive management, and other stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A current or active U.S. government Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers.
  • Experience managing program performance using KPIs, cost, schedule, and technical performance measures.
  • Experience managing program financial performance including budgets, forecasts, revenue, and profit and loss.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams in the execution of programs or business operations.
  • Experience serving as a primary customer interface for government, commercial, or internal stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefings to senior leaders, executives, and government stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing programs through one or more lifecycle phases (preferred).
  • Experience leading or supporting competitive proposal efforts for U.S. Government or DoD customers (preferred).
  • Experience as a Program Manager or lead for communications waveforms and networking programs (preferred).
