What you'll do

Manage program segments to ensure all contractual requirements are met on cost and schedule.
Plan and assess cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality for development and production programs.
Identify, manage, and communicate risks and opportunities to ensure project success.
Lead proposal requests and ensure submissions align with business strategy and deadlines.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical, quality, and operational challenges.
Prepare information for customer status updates and formal program reviews.
Communicate program status clearly to internal leadership and external customer representatives.
Align all activities with corporate Program Excellence processes and monthly metric tracking.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience in government contracts or project management.
Must have at least 5 years of experience leading tasks on schedule and at cost as an engineer, program manager, or business manager.
Must have 5 or more years of demonstrated success leading teams or organizations to achieve common goals.
Preferred: Technical background in propulsion systems, control system technologies, or advanced manufacturing.
Preferred: Experience with Earned Value Management systems and PMP certification.
Preferred: Experience managing people and supporting programs through all phases of the life cycle.
