Engineering Technical Support Manager, Machining

What you'll do

• Manage piece parts and sub-assemblies fabrication for all space programs.
• Oversee machining, large-scale fabrication, tooling, and quick turnaround jobs.
• Lead teams to innovate solutions and resolve fabrication issues for complex products.
• Ensure cost, schedule, and quality commitments are met across manufacturing facilities.
• Manage indirect and capital budgets while promoting metrics-based management.
• Develop process improvement and affordability initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Staff critical skills, develop retention strategies, and provide performance feedback to subordinates.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage program requests and priority adjudication.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in a technical role, Master's plus 3 years, or High School Diploma/G.E.D. plus 9 years.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, operations, or assembly environment.
• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance or SCI access.
• Ability to work 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12 am.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
• Master's Degree in STEM or an MBA (preferred).
• Functional management experience, machine shop management for space products, and active Top Secret/SCI access (preferred).
