Manager Cyber Systems Engineering 2

What you'll do

• Manage a team of managers and individual contributors to ensure clear roles and productive engagement.
• Provide direct performance feedback, mentor employees, and oversee career development and staffing forecasts.
• Lead technical performance for classified programs, dedicating at least 80% of time to engineering tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and decisions to ensure high-quality product deliveries and flight test events.
• Design cyber systems architecture changes with full traceability to mission requirements.
• Ensure weapon system compliance with contractually obligated cybersecurity standards like CNSSI 1253 and DoD 8570.
• Perform cyber-attack surface analysis of system designs to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with program management to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with 10 years, Master’s with 8 years, or PhD with 6 years of experience in Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Must have 14 years of experience in cyber systems engineering related fields in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and Special Access.
• Must be able to obtain an IASAE II certification (CISSP preferred) within six months of hire.
• Must have experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams and proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader.
• Must have direct experience utilizing NIST 800-160 system security engineer and/or the system development life cycle.
• Must have direct experience in systems engineering activities including requirements decomposition, architecture, design, implementation, integration, test, and verification.
• Must have direct experience supporting the development of RMF assessment authorization artifacts to satisfy NIST SP 800-37 requirements.
