TL;DR · Lead Member of Technical Staff

The LMTS joins the Experience Library team within the Digital Marketing Technology organization to serve as a technical leader and frontend-focused full-stack domain expert for the Page Builder platform. You will lead the end-to-end architectural design, engineering roadmap, and development of enterprise-scale web capabilities, including modular component libraries and high-performance rendering engines. Key responsibilities include driving AI-first workflow innovations, mentoring engineers, and overseeing feature delivery from blueprint to production. You will utilize a technical stack including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, Web Components, Node.js, and WordPress. The role addresses the business problem of enabling marketing teams to create high-quality, localized, and performant web experiences at scale across the global digital ecosystem while optimizing Core Web Vitals and CDN configurations.

What you'll do

  • Lead the end-to-end architectural design and deployment of complex frontend and full-stack features for the Page Builder platform.
  • Drive the technical roadmap for scalable authoring pipelines, component libraries, and CMS architectures like WordPress and Contentful.
  • Research and integrate generative AI services and engineering tools into development workflows to accelerate team velocity.
  • Architect and maintain high-performance web systems by optimizing Core Web Vitals, caching strategies, and global rendering infrastructure.
  • Oversee the entire engineering lifecycle from drafting technical specifications to monitoring production performance and resolving reliability issues.
  • Mentor engineers through technical coaching, pair programming, and by establishing automated testing and CI/CD best practices.
  • Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to define requirements and decompose complex initiatives into reusable workflows.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience focusing on large-scale, complex frontend and full-stack web applications.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/Sass/Tailwind, and modern frontend frameworks like React (preferred).
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and building scalable backend/BFF architectures.
  • Proven experience architecting and integrating enterprise Content Management Systems, particularly WordPress and/or Contentful.
  • Solid understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and experience with CDN edge caching and build pipelines.
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL API design, web security best practices, and enterprise-scale state management.
  • Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks such as Jest, Cucumber, Selenium, and Cypress.
