What you'll do

Build and ship production-grade software using modern engineering practices and AI-driven development workflows.
Design and orchestrate complex systems that integrate AI agents into human workflows at scale.
Maintain a shared system context repository of designs, constraints, and standards for AI reliability.
Critically evaluate human and AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
Lead the architectural strategy and technical vision for the Event Technology and websites portfolio.
Plan and execute the implementation of highly scalable solutions to meet future business needs.
Manage ongoing operational activities including deployments, monitoring, incident response, and vendor oversight.

What we're looking for

10+ years of professional software development experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production systems.
Demonstrated AI-first approach to engineering using AI tools like Claude and Cursor in daily workflows.
Advanced prompt engineering skills to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate system context.
Proven experience in a technical leadership role involving architecture, design, and implementation of complex software systems.
Expertise in building observable and resilient systems with a strong understanding of service ownership principles.
Experience developing front-end and back-end software, preferably including JavaScript with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Tailwind or Sass.
Experience building high-scale microservices on AWS (preferred), GCP, or other public cloud substrates.
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience (preferred).
