Lead Solutions Engineer, Enterprise

What you'll do

• Translate prospective partner business goals and technical constraints into concrete solution architectures and API designs.
• Lead technical discovery calls and solutioning sessions with enterprise stakeholders.
• Produce technical assets including architecture diagrams, API contracts, and scoping documents.
• Hand off validated solution designs to the Forward Deployed Engineering team for implementation.
• Identify and scope new product features required to meet specific enterprise partner needs.
• Build reusable solution patterns, proposal templates, and a knowledge base for the team.
• Represent technical feasibility and design perspectives in internal deal-review and prioritization conversations.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or hands-on product engineering at a high-growth company.
• Experience partnering directly with large enterprise or big-tech customers.
• Demonstrated ability to design technical solutions for needs that do not fit existing products.
• Strong technical background in APIs, authentication, data flows, and system architecture.
• Experience translating ambiguous customer requirements into concrete proposals for both engineering and customers.
• Ability to serve as the technical voice in high-stakes enterprise sales conversations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce documentation and diagrams for engineers and executives.
• Experience building/scaling a Solutions Engineering function, working inside big-tech, or experience in payments, loyalty, retail, or fintech (preferred).
