As a Lead Software Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundational Services team, you will modernize a web product by building secure, stable, and scalable engineering solutions. You will lead UI-forward React architecture to create accessible, high-performance experiences while defining a scalable front-end architecture informed by product design thinking. Your daily work involves building robust Java and Spring Boot backend services, integrating across multiple APIs and data sources, and delivering production-ready conversational and agentic features including tool calling and lightweight orchestration. You will manage migrations from low-code to micro-frontends, enforce UI engineering standards, and drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices. Key technical requirements include expertise in React, Java, Spring Boot, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring observability, security, and reliability across distributed systems.
Lead UI-forward React architecture focused on scalable, maintainable, and accessible web experiences.
Define and execute the migration strategy from low-code platforms to micro-frontends.
Translate Figma designs into responsive, high-fidelity UI using reusable components and design-system patterns.
Design and build Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs to eliminate repetitive manual toil.
Integrate multiple APIs and data sources with secure contracts for authentication, caching, and error handling.
Build production-ready chat and agentic features including streaming UX, tool calling, and lightweight orchestration.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Manage end-to-end troubleshooting, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure engineering excellence.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Deep hands-on expertise in React, including component architecture, performance optimization, state management, and accessibility.
Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot for API design and service patterns.
Experience redesigning or modernizing web products, specifically migrating from legacy or low-code systems to modern architectures like micro-frontends.
Proven experience with testing, SDLC best practices, and implementing or operating CI/CD pipelines.
Practical understanding of cloud infrastructure, including deployment patterns, monitoring, logging, and environment management.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
