As a Lead Software Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms Network Automation team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. You are responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting secure, high-quality production code while leading the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices. Your daily work involves building scalable technology products, conducting code reviews, and automating the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability. You will utilize a technical stack including Python, ReactJS, Django, and FastAPI to create microservices and integrate systems via APIs using event-driven approaches. The role requires expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies. You will solve complex problems by evaluating architectural designs from external vendors and internal teams to ensure secure, resilient information architecture.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions for secure and scalable production environments.
Write high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to improve the value of infrastructure automation.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or ReactJS.
Advanced proficiency in one or more framework languages such as Django or FastAPI.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
In-depth knowledge of microservices, API integration, event-driven solutions, and practical cloud native experience.
