JOB TITLE: Senior Lead Software Engineer- Front end and React As a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Vendor Management Office Engineering team, you will lead a high-performing team to design and deliver modern, scalable, and reusable user interfaces for enterprise-wide applications. Your daily responsibilities include architecting micro-frontend solutions, building reusable UI component libraries, and translating wireframes into production-ready code. You will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive the adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality and test acceleration. The role requires deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, alongside experience with Material UI, Ant Design, and Jest. You will solve complex technical challenges by integrating UI solutions with backend systems while ensuring accessibility, performance, and secure handling of data within the software development life cycle.

What you'll do

Lead the design, development, and delivery of responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Architect and implement scalable micro-frontend solutions to ensure modularity across enterprise applications.
Build and maintain a library of reusable UI components to drive consistency and efficiency.
Translate wireframes and user requirements from designers into high-quality, production-ready code.
Mentor junior UI developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of quality and accessibility.
Drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and code quality.
Integrate UI solutions with backend and DevOps systems to ensure seamless deployment.
Rapidly prototype new features and concepts to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
8+ years of hands-on UI development experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead developer role.
Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Proven experience architecting micro-frontend solutions and building reusable UI component libraries.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on compliant usage.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, responsive design, and responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and RESTful APIs (preferred).
Working knowledge of Java-SpringBoot and experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library (preferred).
