What you'll do

Design and develop creative software solutions that solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Write, debug, and perform peer reviews on high-quality, secure production code.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for automated testing, secure coding, and pattern reuse across the team.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Implement automation capabilities within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to increase value.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in back-end and front-end technologies including React, JavaScript, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Experience with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
Experience working with Kubernetes and practical cloud native experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on responsible AI usage.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience developing and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
