What you'll do

Lead a software development team by assigning tasks, planning development, and tracking team status.
Translate complex requirements into working, maintainable software solutions.
Measure team performance and work progress using EVMS techniques.
Develop software utilizing Modern C++ tools and standards for target hardware.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to engineers on embedded software application development.
Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions independently or with multi-discipline teams.
Design and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software with cross-functional engineering members.
Create software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware.
Experience leading a software team or project with strong project management skills.
Experience developing software utilizing Modern C++ tools and standards.
Experience with object-oriented design and software modeling tools like IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo.
Experience using a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) such as Green Hills Integrity or VxWorks.
Experience with EVMS, device drivers, cryptography, or RUST (preferred).
