As a Sr. Member Engineering Staff (RUST Software Engineer - Encryption), you will join the Integrated Systems & Encryption division to develop high-assurance encryption products. What you'll do

Translate technical requirements into maintainable software solutions for encryption products.
Develop and implement software using Rust, C/C++, and Python for embedded real-time operating systems.
Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement technical solutions independently or with a team.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including design, implementation, and formal testing.
Create software test plans, procedures, and relevant technical documentation.
Utilize modeling tools to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate prototype results.
Lead small project efforts and investigations while participating in peer reviews to track and repair defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces and performance requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
At least 2 years of experience with software design and development using C/C++ programming languages and object-oriented design.
1+ years of experience developing Rust software for production systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance.
Master's degree (preferred).
Active security clearance (preferred).
Experience with embedded software, Information Assurance, cryptography, or NSA Type 1/DO-178 certifications (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
