What you'll do

Drive adoption and execution of agile software engineering practices across multiple teams.
Build an engineering pipeline to ensure traceable, low-defect, and high-quality software development.
Define and improve software engineering processes, standards, tools, and governance for encryption programs.
Advise leadership on software engineering strategy, process maturity, and organizational capability.
Provide oversight to software teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Identify systemic gaps and risks in performance to improve program quality and predictability.
Review and influence technical plans, cost estimates, and schedules to ensure alignment with best practices.
Use data-driven analysis to monitor organizational performance and implement continuous improvement actions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience, a graduate degree and 13 years of experience, or 19 years of experience without a degree.
Broad and progressive software engineering experience with significant leadership responsibility across multiple teams or programs.
Proven ability to influence senior engineering, program, and business leaders to drive change across functional boundaries.
Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle including architecture, design, coding, integration, test, release, and sustainment.
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills for communicating with technical and executive audiences.
Experience operating in a regulated, mission-critical, or highly disciplined engineering environment.
Active and existing US DOD Secret security clearance required to start.
U.S. citizens.
