Software Engineer - Maritime Integrated Systems
The Software Engineer - Maritime Integrated Systems joins the Maritime Division to architect a system-of-systems that orchestrates disparate sensors and platforms for autonomous maritime missions. You will independently drive the delivery of software integrated into products, including autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control. Day-to-day responsibilities involve designing scalable software, creating test and simulation fixtures for hardware-in-the-loop, and supporting vehicle manufacturing. You will utilize skills in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and system design to build components for robotic platforms. The role requires proficiency in C++, Rust, Go, Typescript, and React, alongside experience with horizontally scaled cloud technologies and high assurance safety critical software. This work solves the technical challenge of executing end-to-end autonomous missions in complex maritime environments.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Extensive professional experience working as a Software Engineer with one or more domains and/or technologies of expertise.
Systems and/or application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software design and system design.
Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
Capacity to act as a technical owner for a software service, including stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, roadmap management, and team coordination.
Capacity to learn and grow individually while mentoring junior team members effectively.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience in a role for the delivery of a military mission system (preferred).
