As a Lead Software Engineer - Java, AI Lead within the Corporate Sector, Identity & Access Management team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software solutions while producing architecture artifacts to ensure system constraints are met. A primary focus involves driving team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes through automated testing and refactoring. You will manage the integration of these tools while ensuring secure coding standards and data sensitivity protocols. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and MS SQL Server. You will utilize Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP to build scalable products within the identity and access management domain.
Develop, design, and troubleshoot complex software solutions using non-conventional approaches to solve technical problems.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Implement high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.
Create architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all software development meets specific design constraints.

What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
8+ years of software development experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and establishing validation standards for team adoption.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
Practical experience with Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data), RESTful APIs, and Microservices architectures.
Proficiency in CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and designing data models for relational databases like MS SQL Server.
Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and technologies such as Python, Golang, React, NodeJS, Kubernetes, or Identity and Access Management (preferred).
