What you'll do

Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend components and AI-native capabilities like agentic workflows.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with core systems.
Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Identify performance bottlenecks and propose technical optimizations for distributed systems.
Mentor junior engineers through regular code reviews and technical guidance.
Design and optimize data models for relational and NoSQL databases.
Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, React, REST, Kafka, and Microservices.
Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
Experience in object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Ability to design and optimize data models for relational or NoSQL databases while handling data consistency and transactional boundaries.
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines (preferred); familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
