What you'll do

Deliver end-to-end backend components featuring AI-native capabilities like agentic workflows and LLM-powered features.
Develop high-quality production code for distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure security, performance, and technical correctness.
Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews to solve complex technical problems.
Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks through proactive optimization.
Mentor junior engineers through consistent code reviews and technical guidance.
Manage data models and consistency across relational or NoSQL databases.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
7+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems using Java (specifically Java 21+).
Proficiency in Spring Boot, React, REST, Kafka, Microservices, Agile, and DevOps.
Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with asynchronous communication using messaging or streaming systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Ability to design and optimize data models for relational or NoSQL databases.
