What you'll do

Develop, design, and troubleshoot complex software solutions using non-conventional approaches to solve technical problems.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Implement high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.
Create architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all software development meets specific design constraints.
Identify patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and overall system architecture.
Coach engineers on the safe and compliant use of AI tools within delivery practices.
Contribute to engineering communities of practice to explore and integrate emerging technologies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
8+ years of software development experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and establishing validation standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling in engineering workflows.
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
Practical experience with Java, Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Data), RESTful APIs, and Microservices architectures.
Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, relational databases (MS SQL Server), and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
