What you'll do

Design and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products for the Corporate Sector Enterprise Technology team.
Develop high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for AI outputs including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Implement technical solutions across multiple areas to support business functions and achieve firm objectives.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
10+ years of software development experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards for team members.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Practical experience with Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Microservices architectures.
Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and relational databases like Oracle.
Experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Identity and Access Management (preferred).
