Lead Software Engineer, Fullstack Java and React with Cloud

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-quality production code using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Lead modules and subordinates in designing scalable services and evaluating architectural designs for system compatibility.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring code meets all design constraints.
• Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test code while validating outputs for security.
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous software improvement.
• Proactively identify patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Implement cloud-native engineering practices on AWS to deploy and operate scalable, cost-aware services.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, SDLC, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Full-stack development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React in an enterprise environment.
• Cloud-native engineering experience on AWS, including designing and operating scalable, secure, and cost-aware services.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to generate, validate, and refine code and documentation.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and security expectations.
• Experience with data integration patterns and event-driven architectures like Kafka (preferred).
• Financial services knowledge and experience with module or workstream leadership in agile teams (preferred).
