What you'll do

Design and develop scalable software solutions and high-quality production code for complex enterprise systems.
Lead technical modules by guiding subordinates through architectural design evaluations and development tasks.
Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all software code meets specific design constraints.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to accelerate development, refactor code, and generate unit tests.
Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of production systems.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements in system architecture and coding hygiene.
Develop and maintain secure backend services and modern web UIs using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
Build and operate cloud-native applications on AWS following security and cost-aware engineering patterns.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, SDLC, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Full-stack development expertise with Java/Spring Boot for backend services and React for modern web UIs.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java/Spring Boot and database querying languages.
Cloud-native engineering on AWS to design, deploy, and operate scalable, secure, and cost-aware services.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Experience with data integration patterns, event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), and observability practices (preferred).
