You will solve complex technical problems involving microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases within a risk technology domain.

What you'll do

Develop and debug high-quality production code in Java or Scala for large data sets.
Implement statistical algorithms and complex technical solutions across multiple domains.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including security, performance, and peer review.
Manage software deployment using cloud technologies like AWS, Databricks, and Kubernetes.
Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve overall system stability.
Perform unit testing and integration testing for software components.
Execute full Software Development Life Cycle tasks including CI/CD and microservices development.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced skills in Java, J2ee, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience with Relational Databases, SQL, GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, microservices, and REST APIs.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on responsible AI usage.
Practical cloud native experience with AWS services, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Experience in Java 8/11/17, Object-Oriented design, Big Data (Spark), Unix, shell scripts, Python, or Scala (preferred).
