As a Fullstack Lead Software Engineer within the Banking Payments group, you will join an agile team to build and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products. You will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex software solutions across various business functions. Your daily work involves delivering end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based applications, applying domain modeling techniques, and ensuring high-quality production code through rigorous reviews. You will utilize a technical stack including Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. Additionally, you will work with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, SQL, NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets. This role focuses on solving technical problems within the financial services domain to ensure secure, scalable, and stable banking payment systems.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
  • Deliver end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based applications using modern industry best practices.
  • Apply domain modeling techniques to build structured, testable, and scalable business products.
  • Develop secure production code and perform code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.
  • Design scalable solutions using modern architectural patterns to ensure zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
  • Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
  • Lead communities of practice to drive the adoption of leading-edge technologies across the organization.
  • Continuously evaluate and update technologies and patterns to maintain system resilience.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies like Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js to build microservices-based applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), distributed systems, and web technologies like RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building scalable applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and a solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods, including CI/CD pipelines and application resiliency practices.
  • Experience in the financial services or banking domain (preferred).
  • AWS or equivalent cloud certification (preferred).
