What you'll do

Design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platform capabilities and production environments.
Develop and maintain Java 17+ and Spring Boot services with RESTful APIs.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and Everything-as-Code using Terraform for secure provisioning.
Execute safe release practices including rolling and blue/green deployments for high-availability services.
Apply SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and automated remediation to improve operational stability.
Monitor and troubleshoot production services using observability and APM tools like Splunk or Datadog.
Prototype and deliver AI-enabled workflows and agentic patterns based on stakeholder requirements.
Mentor engineers and partner with teams to ensure compliance with security and performance standards.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on Java/J2EE and Python development experience with depth in Spring Boot and REST API design.
AWS platform and infrastructure engineering experience for designing and operating cloud workloads.
Experience operating Kubernetes in high-availability environments, including deployments and incident troubleshooting.
Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform for modules, state management, and secure provisioning.
Production support experience using observability/APM tools like Splunk, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and performance testing tools (JMeter/BlazeMeter).
Demonstrated experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools and understanding responsible AI in engineering workflows.
