As a Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate Technology - Architecture Data Solutions team, you will join an agile team focused on building and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. Key responsibilities include implementing enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices, ensuring responsible AI use, and applying OOP design patterns. You will also advocate for firmwide frameworks and software development life cycle tools to solve complex technical challenges.

What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and external vendors.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in specific technical areas of focus.
Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices within the engineering community.
Influence project decision-makers to adopt and apply leading-edge technologies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code practices.
Strong coding skills in Java and Spring with solid fundamentals.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security.
Proven, hands-on experience across system design, application development, testing, and production support.
Experience with XZBoost and model hosting.
Experience with low-latency/high-throughput systems.
Knowledge of Big/Data technologies (preferred).
Exposure to agentic AI (preferred).
