What you'll do

Manage daily work allocation and prioritize tasks for a team of R&D technicians.
Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies for autonomous underwater vehicles.
Troubleshoot and repair hardware components while providing technical feedback to engineering teams.
Execute manufacturing transactions within production systems such as MES, NetSuite, and JIRA.
Train new operators and provide ongoing support for team skill development.
Identify and resolve production roadblocks to ensure timely completion of R&D builds.
Participate in 5S activities and suggest improvements for the building process.

What we're looking for

Must have 7+ years of electronics experience in an R&D environment.
Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight.
Experience building and troubleshooting cables and wiring harnesses.
Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and assembling cables and connectors.
Familiarity reading electrical system and component schematics.
Familiarity with electronics test equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition sensors.
Understanding of product life cycle (NPI to scaled production) and LEAN manufacturing principles.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
