As a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician, you will join the engineering team to build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies while performing precision PCB rework and assembly. What you'll do

Build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies according to schematics.
Perform precision PCB rework including SMT and through-hole soldering under a microscope.
Operate benchtop test equipment like oscilloscopes and signal generators to verify system performance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic failures down to the component level using wiring diagrams.
Document test data, rework actions, and failure modes to support engineering analysis.
Maintain lab equipment calibration and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

What we're looking for

Must have 5+ years of experience in electronics testing, assembly, and rework in an R&D or production environment.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical datasheets.
Proficiency in fine-pitch SMT and through-hole soldering according to IPC J-STD-001 or equivalent standards.
Experience building and modifying complex cable and wire harness assemblies per IPC-620 or equivalent standards.
Ability to diagnose electronic failures to the component level using standard test equipment and documentation.
Understanding of product development lifecycles, reliability, and compliance testing.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fields is preferred.
