What you'll do

  • Oversee high-voltage infrastructure readiness, substation delivery, and permanent power energization across OCI campuses.
  • Coordinate utility milestones, including outages, tie-ins, and the sequencing of power transitions.
  • Manage risks and dependencies related to power delivery to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Conduct on-site power readiness reviews and assess the quality of field turnover and startup alignment.
  • Facilitate safe transitions from temporary to permanent power while enforcing standards for live power work.
  • Provide executive-level updates regarding utility constraints, infrastructure risks, and recovery priorities.
  • Mentor team members by providing technical expertise and guidance on practical field execution.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of experience in utility power delivery, HV/MV electrical infrastructure, substations, or mission-critical construction.
  • Deep knowledge of utility feeds, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution interfaces.
  • Proven experience with utility coordination, interconnection strategy, and permanent power readiness.
  • Experience managing utility-driven risks, outage constraints, and transition from temporary to permanent power.
  • Strong safety leadership regarding energized work, LOTO, and live power activities.
  • Ability to travel regularly and maintain 40–60% site engagement for field assessments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • PE, PMP, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or similar credentials (preferred).
