Lead Platform Engineer, Web Experience

What you'll do

• Implement AI agents and shared services to automate the transition from design requirements to production code.
• Develop automated systems for design token extraction, component generation, and visual regression testing.
• Apply AI to draft, refine, and track requirements and acceptance criteria across the delivery chain.
• Integrate agent-assisted coding and automated reviews into existing Git and Jenkins CI/CD workflows.
• Automate accessibility conformance detection and remediation within the development pipeline.
• Lead AI-assisted test generation and maintenance based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Build and manage quality gates to validate AI-produced work before it advances in the lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews for a multi-squad team of engineers and contractors.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of software engineering or product experience delivering enterprise-scale digital products, platforms, and distributed systems.
• 2+ years developing and using AI agents and orchestration platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale platform modernization initiatives and establishing enterprise engineering standards.
• Proven track record building reusable platforms, frameworks, SDKs, and developer ecosystems.
• Experience operating within highly regulated or complex enterprise environments.
• Expert knowledge in Platform Development to solve business problems and accelerate new product introduction.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise AI ecosystems including LLM integrations, Agent-based systems, RAG, and Tool-calling frameworks.
• Deep experience with MACH-based architecture, including headless CMS, Next.js/React on AWS, Cloudflare, Algolia, and Apigee.
• Hands-on expertise with Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Robot Framework, and New Relic.
• Working knowledge of digital accessibility standards and automated scanning tools.
• Experience leading teams of employees and contractors, including goal setting and career development.
• Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries (preferred).
• Experience building enterprise agent platforms (preferred).
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) (preferred).
• Experience building reusable enterprise SDKs and framework libraries (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and enterprise architecture stakeholders (preferred).
• Experience leading through organizational transformation (preferred).
