The Lead Workplace Experience Engineer - Power Platform is responsible for the architecture, operational governance, and full lifecycle management of Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot capabilities as enterprise services. Working within the infrastructure operations domain, this role ensures environments are secured, scaled, and operated in alignment with firm standards. Key responsibilities include owning environment and capacity strategy, enforcing production readiness, managing change and release controls, and establishing DLP policies. The engineer will build and maintain governed adoption paths for AI-powered automations and Copilot Studio agents. Required technical skills include deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform administration, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. The role solves the business problem of transitioning experimental automations into production-ready services while ensuring regulatory alignment, cost management, and risk mitigation in a regulated financial services environment.
Manage the architecture, operational governance, and full lifecycle of Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot services.
Own the environment and capacity strategy across development, test, and production tenants to ensure scalability and cost efficiency.
Define and enforce production readiness, change controls, and release governance for all platform deployments.
Establish and enforce DLP policies, connector governance, and access controls to meet security and regulatory standards.
Lead operational monitoring, telemetry, and observability to manage capacity, consumption, and cost for AI services.
Direct Level 3 incident response and problem management to ensure rapid service restoration and root cause analysis.
Transition successful proofs of concept and experimental automations into governed, production-ready enterprise services.
Maintain agent inventories, AI taxonomies, and usage tracking to translate AI policy into enforceable operational practices.
What we're looking for
BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or enterprise collaboration services.
Deep expertise in infrastructure operations and advanced knowledge of identity, security, and cloud platform governance.
Deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform administration, including environment strategy, DLP policies, connectors, and ALM at enterprise scale.
Hands-on experience operationalizing Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, including agent design, access governance, and monitoring.
Proven experience defining and enforcing governance, DLP, access, and lifecycle controls for AI-enabled or agent-based solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.
Strong grounding in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and information protection concepts as they apply to Power Platform and Copilot workloads.
Proven ability to lead enterprise-scale programs, set standards across multiple teams, and mentor senior engineers and consultants.
Experience operating Copilot Studio agents at enterprise scale (preferred).
