As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Retail Branch Change Execution, you will join a high-performing team focused on delivering infrastructure and performance excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable and secure patch and software deployments across approximately 70,000 devices in retail branches while minimizing service interruptions. Your daily work involves architecting platform changes to modernize processes, designing creative solutions for complex technical problems, and leading automation initiatives. You will utilize Python, PowerShell, .NET, GitHub, and CoPilot or Agentic AI to automate software delivery and operational tasks. The role requires managing enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate analysis while ensuring all actions remain traceable and secure. You must navigate complex infrastructure domains including networking, databases, and cloud technologies to solve technical challenges within the retail branch environment through cross-functional collaboration and mentoring junior engineers.
Manage secure patch and software deployments to approximately 70,000 retail branch devices with minimal service interruption.
Drive workstreams and projects focused on enterprise software deployment across various infrastructure engineering technologies.
Architect and implement platform changes to resolve technical issues and modernize existing technology processes.
Develop and troubleshoot creative solutions for complex technical problems within the infrastructure domain.
Lead automation initiatives using Python, PowerShell, or .NET to automate software delivery and operational tasks.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate infrastructure analysis and generate design documentation.
Implement reuse-first, AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and ensure traceable, auditable remediation options.
Ensure automated software and security updates are delivered consistently across all enterprise platforms.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, software deployment, or related fields.
Deep knowledge of three or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as deployment practices, automation, networking, databases, integration, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
Experienced knowledge of infrastructure technology and scripting/programming languages including Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
Proven experience leveraging AI and agentic AI to automate and develop enterprise software delivery solutions.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations while ensuring outcomes align with resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Experience deploying enterprise software solutions in large-scale environments (preferred).
Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering, cloud technologies, AI, SRE, or software deployment tools (preferred).
