As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer-Network Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms, Network Services team, you will drive workstreams to modernize infrastructure and resolve complex technical issues. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting systems while mentoring other engineers on technical depth and leading architecture reviews. Your daily work involves translating regulatory requirements into engineering decisions and utilizing enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and documentation. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, scripting languages, and network fabric technologies such as routing, switching, and WAN. You will utilize tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Splunk to automate and observe services. Key technical domains include security, edge, and segmentation, specifically focusing on Zero Trust environments, while ensuring all automation routines remain traceable, auditable, and aligned with strict resiliency and security requirements.
Lead workstreams and projects to modernize infrastructure technologies and organizational processes.
Analyze upstream and downstream technical implications to advise on risk mitigation actions.
Solve complex problems through creative design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
Translate regulatory requirements into engineering decisions while serving as a subject matter expert for audits.
Mentor engineers on technical depth and lead architecture reviews and design discussions.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate infrastructure analysis and documentation.
Implement automation routines using AI-assisted practices to ensure traceable and secureer remediation options.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple technologies to operate across public and private clouds.
Expertise in areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment practices, automation, or performance assessment.
Proficiency in network fabric design and operation including routing, switching, wireless, and WAN.
Experience securing perimeters and enforcing Zero Trust segmentation.
Proficiency with engineering toolchains to automate, version-control, and observe infrastructure services.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting while ensuring security compliance.
