What you'll do

Perform root cause analysis and investigations to identify failure trends in complex electronic communication systems.
Recommend design improvements based on technical analysis of production and field failures.
Present technical recommendations and data to the Failure Review Board and during customer reviews.
Manage the FRACAS database by tracking open investigations and generating status reports for management.
Determine corrective actions and resolutions for identified communication system failures.
Review fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures while performing functional testing on equipment.
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs, Material Control, and Quality departments to resolve issues.
Manage time and resources to support multiple concurrent programs in a multi-disciplined environment.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
An ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 9 years of experience.
A Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience.
13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience supporting a FRACAS program (preferred).
Familiarity with FRACAS software, Reliability Analysis, and Failure Mode/Fault Tree Analysis (preferred).
Experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems including data link and mechanical systems (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
