What you'll do

Perform root cause analysis and investigations on design, production, and field failures of communication systems.
Recommend design improvements and corrective actions based on failure trend analysis.
Present technical recommendations and findings to the Failure Review Board.
Manage the FRACAS database by monitoring status, tracking open investigations, and generating reports.
Review fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures for various communication systems.
Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of equipment in assigned areas.
Develop and present technical data to management and customers during reviews.
Coordinate issue resolution with Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs, Material Control, and Quality departments.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 9 years of relevant experience.
Graduate degree with 7 years of related experience.
13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Direct experience supporting a FRACAS program (preferred).
Familiarity with FRACAS software, Reliability Analysis, and Failure Mode/Fault Tree Analysis (preferred).
Experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems, data links, and mechanical systems (preferred).
