Lead Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot military communications networks from initial concept through delivery.
• Develop detailed network schematics and implement hardware and software solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices and next-generation firewalls using Cisco IOS/IOS-XE.
• Apply routing, tunneling, and network services including GRE, IPsec, DMVPN, QoS, and VLANs.
• Implement and troubleshoot network security controls such as IP access lists and stateful protocol inspection.
• Utilize network-management protocols including SNMP, SSH, syslog, and RADIUS/TACACS.
• Support system integration, verification, formal qualification, and customer integration events.
• Coordinate technical decisions, risks, and delivery activities with engineering teams and senior customer organizations.

What we're looking for

• An ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science with 9 years of experience is required.
• A graduate degree with 7 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience/education in lieu of a bachelor's is required.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Experience with IPv4/IPv6 design, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IP subnetting (preferred).
• Experience configuring Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and NGFW platforms (preferred).
• Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with HAIPE/TACLANE or other military COMSEC/CRYPTO equipment (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree.
