Additionally, the role requires implementing security controls like IP access lists and stateful protocol inspection while utilizing management protocols including SNMP, SSH, syslog, and RADIUS/TACACS. Technical expertise in IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and military-specific equipment like HAIPE/TACLANE or Common Data Link is essential for ensuring secure, reliable communication systems.

What we're looking for
An ABET accredited Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with IPv4/IPv6 design, including IP subnetting, DNS, NTP, VoIP, QoS, and BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP protocols (preferred).
Experience configuring and troubleshooting network and next-generation firewall devices, ideally Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and NGFW platforms (preferred).
Strong understanding of GRE, IPsec, DMVPN, VLANs, multicast, and network security features like IP access lists and stateful protocol inspection (preferred).
Familiarity with network-management protocols including SNMP, SSH, syslog, and RADIUS/TACACS (preferred).
