Lead Electrical Engineer, Power Hardware

What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of advanced power hardware using electrical engineering principles.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed electrical specifications and power architectures.
• Design and analyze isolated and non-isolated power conversion topologies including AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
• Perform detailed analysis of power circuits for voltage regulation, thermal performance, and EMI/EMC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues at the component, board, module, payload, and system levels.
• Use laboratory instruments to validate designs and investigate hardware issues.
• Conduct trade studies and develop conceptual power solutions for proposals and new business opportunities.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to power engineers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience in a STEM field.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
• Experience interpreting high-level requirements and developing power architectures (preferred).
• Strong experience in electronic power design, including power devices, control loop theory, and thermal management (preferred).
• Technical knowledge of spacecraft power subsystems, including batteries, topologies, and distribution (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
