Lead RF Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement RF circuits including LNAs, PAs, filters, mixers, and transceiver modules for space-to-ground links.
• Develop system-level RF architectures that meet high-reliability requirements for space applications.
• Lead schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout reviews focusing on radiation tolerance and signal integrity.
• Perform hardware bring-up, tuning, and characterization using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and other advanced lab equipment.
• Execute root-cause analysis to troubleshoot complex RF issues and propose design improvements for mission readiness.
• Create technical documentation including requirements, design reports, test procedures, and verification artifacts.
• Mentor early career engineers and lead project designs through the development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Experience designing for a space environment (preferred).
• Current security clearance or the ability to obtain one (preferred).
• Knowledge of space communication standards, high-frequency payload architectures, or ground-segment RF equipment (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
