What you'll do

Lead vehicle and propulsion systems design to meet milestones on schedule and within budget.
Make decisive technical judgments and communicate strategic vision during complex development phases.
Coordinate engineering activities with Supply Chain and Operations departments.
Manage metrics related to nonconformance rates, production delivery performance, and corrective actions.
Identify IR&D efforts and align them with technical roadmaps to create technology differentiators.
Lead new pursuits by ensuring technical baseline rigor, cost justification, and risk management.
Drive program risk mitigation and identify root causes for technical issues.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, a graduate degree with 7 years of experience, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Proficiency in leading technical issue resolution through root cause investigation and corrective actions.
Expertise in communicating technical data to senior management and customers with varying levels of understanding.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
7+ years of propulsion and vehicle systems domain knowledge (preferred).
Strong multidisciplinary technical breadth in missiles and propulsion (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
