What you'll do

Lead vehicle and propulsion systems design to meet milestones on schedule and within budget.
Provide technical leadership and make decisive judgments in environments with incomplete requirements and aggressive schedules.
Coordinate engineering activities with Supply Chain and Operations for development efforts.
Manage metrics related to nonconformance rates, production delivery performance, and closure timelines.
Identify IR&D efforts and align them with technical roadmaps to create technology differentiators.
Lead new pursuits with an emphasis on technical baseline rigor, cost justification, and risk management.
Resolve technical issues through root cause identification and the implementation of corrective actions.
Communicate complex technical data to senior management and customers with varying levels of technical understanding.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience, Graduate Degree and 7 years, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Proficiency in leading technical issue resolution through root cause investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
Expertise in communicating technical data to senior management and customers with varying levels of technical understanding.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
7+ years of propulsion and vehicle systems domain knowledge (preferred).
Strong multidisciplinary technical breadth in missiles and propulsion (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
