Lead Business Process Engineer, Business Process & Procedures will join the manufacturing engineering team to lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across the organization. This role involves building and mentoring a high-performing team of business process engineers while managing budgets, resources, and staffing. The individual will define and manage manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering initiatives from ideation through pilot programs and broad rollouts. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams in production, quality, supply chain, and product development to resolve workflow pain points and establish best practices. Required expertise includes experience in manufacturing operations, design engineering, change management, and project management. The role requires proficiency with Product Life Cycle (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES) to manage complex products ranging from high complexity to high-volume automation.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of business process engineers.
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing for the manufacturing engineering department.
Develop and manage manufacturing engineering initiatives from initial ideation through pilot programs and broad rollout.
Define and implement new business processes for manufacturing and industrial engineering to ensure scalable solutions.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify pain points and improve workflow intricacies.
Establish and share best practices across global teams through training materials and standardized templates.
Align manufacturing engineering milestones with integrated program schedules and cross-functional requirements.
Identify areas for improvement on programs and provide actionable recommendations regarding feasibility and risk.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, operations, design engineering, business process development, change management, project management, program management, or engineering transformation.
8+ years of overall experience in relevant domains.
Must possess excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Must have a strong understanding of the product lifecycle and its importance for manufacturing readiness.
Must possess strong business acumen combined with knowledge of hardware engineering and manufacturing domains.
Must be familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES).
Experience leading organizational change, translating technical requirements into business needs, or moving products to full-scale production (preferred).
