The Business Process Engineer joins the Supply Chain team to lead complex end-to-end initiatives and establish robust operating structures in a fast-paced environment. This role involves documenting current workflows, identifying execution bottlenecks, and designing future-state operational models to enable production at scale. The individual will socialize process frameworks with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Program Management while creating Lucid or Visio visualizations to highlight risks for leadership. Key responsibilities include facilitating phase gate evaluations, fostering adoption of actionable resources, and collaborating with engineers and technicians to resolve pain points. The ideal candidate possesses a background in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or project management, along with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies. This role addresses the challenge of creating scalable production systems within a hardware and manufacturing domain.
Introduce the process framework and resources to cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and program management.
Document current workflows and identify execution bottlenecks to design future-state operational models.
Create and maintain Lucid or Visio visualizations to highlight risks and communicate status to leadership.
Facilitate process phase gate evaluations and provide feedback on best practices for production success.
Recommend tactical resources to ensure business processes and frameworks are actionable for site teams.
Identify and advocate for solutions that address the specific pain points of engineers, technicians, and program managers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, math, or sciences.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, operations, industrial engineering, change management, project management, program management, or engineering transformation.
Strong business acumen with knowledge of hardware and manufacturing domains.
Ability to collaborate and influence across all levels and disciplines.
U.S. Person status is required for access to export controlled data.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through structural upgrades and coaching on continuous improvement (preferred).
Experience with large scale organizational change, process adoption, Lean, Six Sigma/Agile methodology projects, or new process rollouts (preferred).
