Principal Process Engineer

What you'll do

• Optimize dip molding processes and polymer material science for medical-grade catheters to improve production yields.
• Integrate advanced dip-coating equipment and biocompatible materials to meet specific technical requirements for vascular surgical catheters.
• Lead the end-to-end development, tooling design, and scale-up of manufacturing lines including mandrel design and automated stripping systems.
• Manage polymer rheology, curing profiles, and drying optimizations during the production process.
• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support to improve equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct statistical analysis and develop measurement systems for statistical process control.
• Lead the innovation and development of new manufacturing concepts from feasibility studies through to full production.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable industry regulations.

What we're looking for

• A Baccalaureate degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience is required.
• A Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience is accepted as an alternative qualification.
• A PhD with at least 3 years of relevant experience is also an acceptable educational path.
• Candidates must have expertise in dip molding processes and polymer material science for medical-grade catheters.
• Experience in integrating advanced dip-coating equipment and biocompatible elastomer or thermoplastic materials is required.
• Skills in manufacturing scale-up, tooling design, and polymer rheology management are necessary.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and implement process improvements to meet quality standards is required.
• Candidates must possess valid U.S. work authorization.
