Lead Associate Principal Software Engineering SDET

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing automation frameworks for software testing.
• Create and execute automation test plans and write code against various software platforms.
• Develop and automate UI screens using Selenium Protractor Cucumber with Typescript/JavaScript.
• Create, maintain, and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Define test strategies, conduct requirements analysis, and perform risk and mitigation planning.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Manage test environments, test data, and the distribution of team workloads.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth.

What we're looking for

• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of seven to ten years of experience working with manual and automation technologies as an expert.
• Proficiency in Java-based software development, including object-oriented design and architecture principles.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Mocha/Chai, and TestNG.
• Experience with API, high-volume data testing, and strong data experience including SQL and databases.
• Proficiency with automated testing types including Unit, Functional, Behavioral, Integration, and Component testing.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and with two or more systems like Unix/Linux, public-cloud, or distributed systems.
• Previous experience testing in Financial Services, Derivatives Clearing, Risk, and Data Warehousing systems (preferred).
