What you'll do

  • Design and implement modular, scalable automation frameworks aligned with bank engineering patterns.
  • Develop BDD-aligned automated tests using Cucumber to reflect business intent and governance.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates and provide fast feedback.
  • Analyze test failures to improve signal quality and provide actionable diagnostics.
  • Manage test data, environment readiness, and observability to support reliable automation execution.
  • Partner with developers and product owners to shape requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to fellow QA engineers on testing strategies and standards.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of testing experience with hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks and code.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Java across both legacy and modern JDKs.
  • Experience building automation frameworks using Typescript or JavaScript on Node.js.
  • Hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI automation and Cucumber-JS for BDD workflows.
  • Strong experience building automation frameworks with Java using Cucumber-Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and Harness.
  • Proficiency using Docker to containerize automation workloads in OpenShift.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
