What you'll do

  • Design and execute automation test plans for mission-critical financial systems.
  • Develop, enhance, and extend automated testing frameworks to improve software quality.
  • Identify and implement automation for new features during the sprint cycle.
  • Perform performance, load, and scalability testing on high-volume data systems.
  • Analyze and communicate test results while managing defect tracking.
  • Manage test environments and coordinate the creation of necessary test data.
  • Define test strategies including requirements analysis, risk mitigation, and configuration management.
  • Support Ovations systems by researching and resolving technical issues for users.

What we're looking for

  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to experience working with manual and automation technologies as an expert.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in Java based software development including object-oriented design and architecture principles.
  • Strong testing experience including developing test plans, automating test cases, and using automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with API and high-volume data testing.
  • Experience with at least two of: web/mobile apps, Unix/Linux, transaction processing, distributed systems, large software systems, security software, or public-cloud platforms.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Derivatives Clearing, Risk, or Data warehousing (preferred); experience with streaming, event-driven systems, or message queuing tools like Kafka (preferred).
