Lab Support Specialist

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot industrial systems, servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments including Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and backup services.
• Configure networking technologies such as VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Manage industrial devices, firmware updates, engineering software, and hardware/software compatibility.
• Procure and manage assets, licenses, warranties, and vendor relationships for lab equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation including asset records, network diagrams, procedures, and recovery plans.
• Perform physical infrastructure maintenance including rack management, cabling, and power systems.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, and standardized process documentation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in systems, network, infrastructure, industrial automation, or lab support environments (preferred).
• Technical expertise in Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, networking, backup and recovery, industrial automation, or lab operations (preferred).
• Experience with virtualization platforms, Windows Server, Linux administration, and core networking technologies (preferred).
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, OT protocols, and engineering software (preferred).
• Proficiency with scripting, automation, APIs, and AI-assisted development tools (preferred).
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, software deployment, licensing, vendor management, and inventory control (preferred).
