What you'll do

  • Maintain a fleet of thousands of iOS and macOS devices across multiple lab environments.
  • Ensure all hardware and systems remain functional, healthy, and available for testing.
  • Provision and deploy released and unreleased hardware to engineering teams.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex device hardware and software failures.
  • Develop scripts and automation for machine configuration and software deployment.
  • Implement AI-assisted workflows to improve device health, recovery outcomes, and reliability.
  • Analyze operational metrics and telemetry data to identify bottlenecks and drive scalable improvements.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 2–3+ years of experience supporting software services in a Unix-based environment.
  • Experience with automated provisioning processes is required.
  • Basic scripting skills in Shell or Python are required.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or similar is required.
  • Working knowledge of Git or other source control systems and collaborative development workflows is required.
  • Preferred experience supporting macOS and/or iOS devices in a lab environment.
  • Preferred understanding of LAN networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, and routing.
  • Preferred experience with device provisioning, deployment, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
